The Hamptons: Elaia Estiatorio

Elaia Estiatorio

Address | 95 School Street, Bridgehampton, NY 11932

We kicked off the long weekend in The Hamptons with a happy hour date at Elaia Estiatorio. Nestled in the heart of Bridgehampton, Elaia Estiatorio hosts a warm Mediterranean culinary experience. With its charming candlelit ambiance and exquisite craft cocktails, Elaia hosts a lovely happy hour. On offer are several small plates priced at $12 a plate and craft cocktails and select wines also at $12. The cocktails were delicious and what I will come back for in the future. I ordered the KEFI—21 Seeds Cucumber Jalapeño Tequila, Pineapple, Ouzo, Lime. You can order this salted or unsalted, which was my preference. The ouzo was a nice flavor. The cucumber garnish was too large but, I just set it aside. Lynette had the FILI—Rosebud Infused Aviation American Gin, Prickly Pear, Lemon.  This cocktail had a nice effervescence a floral undernote and was really enjoyable.

The small plate selection is a bit limited with two of the options centering on fried cheese which we find a bit heavy for happy hour. We ordered the oysters on the half shell which were tasty but the shelling wasn’t properly done (too much shell debris), and the Saganaki—pan friend Kefalograviera cheese, lemon wedge.

Overall, Elaia Estiatorio provides an intimate and sexy setting for a few cocktails in The Hamptons.
